Le contacteur centrifuge est placé du côté gauche du compartiment des accessoires près du compteur de temps de fonctionnement. Il comprend un arbre d'entraînement, commandé par le train d'engrenages qui entraîne des masselottes. Celles-ci sous l'action de la force centrifuge poussent un plongeur qui agit sur un levier portant les lames ressort préréglées, lesquelles agissent sur les trois interrupteurs. Le rôle de ce contacteur est de commander l'ordre des opérations du circuit électrique de démarrage.
